Awards Process

Together, Sustainability Victoria, Banksia Foundation and Keep Australia Beautiful (Vic) (KABV) are collaborating to deliver a reputable and prestigious awards program that gives business and community recognition and prestige, driving innovative projects and programs forward to build sustainable communities.

The Premier’s Sustainability Awards (PSA) will be judged in two separate streams.

Stream 1 – Industry Leadership (judged by the Banksia Foundation)

Stream 2 – Community Champion (judged by Keep Australia Beautiful (Vic))

The Premier’s Sustainability Awards Community Champion winners will have a pathway to the national Keep Australia Beautiful awards program, and all winners will be eligible for the National Banksia Sustainability Awards.

AWARDS JOURNEY

  • Select the award category relevant to your community, business or initiative.
SEE CATEGORIES

  • Review the requirements and gather the necessary paperwork.

DOWNLOAD ENTRY KIT

  • Create your account on our Awards Portal hosted by Informed365 and enter all required information, including the PR information.

  • We recommend writing your entry submission in draft form and checking against judging criteria before submitting your final version online.

  • Upload supporting documentation via the Awards Portal.
SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY
  • Judges read and score entries based on the criteria allocated to each category.
  • The PSA will be judged in two separate streams.
  • Stream 1 – Industry Leadership (judged by the Banksia Foundation)
  • Stream 2 – Community Leadership (judged by KABV)
  • You will be contacted if you have been shortlisted as a finalist, and an interview will be arranged.
  • Once finalist interviews have taken place, the winners will be selected.
  • The Awards Governance Committee will review the finalists and winner’s selection to ensure accuracy against the outlined criteria.
JUDGING PROCESS
  • Finalists will be announced prior to the awards presentation.
  • Finalists are invited to attend the awards presentation.
  • Finalists are notified if they have won their category at the awards presentation.
  • PSA Community Leader winners will have a pathway to the national KAB awards program.
  • All winners will be eligible for the National Banksia Foundation Awards
