Awards Process

AWARDS PROCESS

  • Select the award category that best reflects your achievements.

  • Contact Banksia for additional assistance in deciding which category is best for you.

  • Review the criteria guidelines and entry requirements as illustrated in the Entry Kit.

  • Create your account on our Entry Portal hosted by Informed365. Start a form for the 35th National Banksia Sustainability Awards.

  • Write your submission document based on the structure prescribed in the Entry Kit.

  • Upload your PR Information and supporting material to your Entry Form.

  • Submit your entry by uploading your final submission document to your Entry Form and pay the entry fee.

  • Judges read and score entries, with a shortlist determined by overall average scores.

  • Successful entrants are contacted for a 10 minute online interview.

  • Judges decide on finalists and winners based on combined interview and written entry scores.

  • The Awards Governance Committee review the selected finalists and winners to ensure accuracy against the outlined criteria.

  • Finalists are announced the week of March 5th, 2024.

  • Finalists are invited to attend the Awards Presentation the week of April 11th, 2024.

  • Winners are announced at the Awards Presentation at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

  • Winners join the Banksia Foundation alumni.

  • Winners work closely with the Banksia team over the following 12 months to promote their award-winning initiative.
